The sweet smell of babies...

This is one of the best things about my job... I get to hold and smell sweet little munchkins and then I get to leave them with their mommies when they start to cry and fuss. This little darling was so much fun... she was so patient and once she fell asleep it was just magical. Hope you enjoy this little preview... gallery will be up soon.

Totally cool new photo prop!

Okay so I am almost beside myself about this new prop. I have been looking everywhere for one of these and yesterday just happened to be my lucky day. But on top of all that I have a photo shoot on Tuesday involving a newborn and I am so excited I can hardly stand it. So many ideas and options I could just spend all day playing around with it but alas I shall be responsible and try to get done the things I should and just dream about Tuesday and the sweet little cheeks of my friends new baby girl and how gorgeous she will look in the pics. Henry Family

Now this is what I call a family... lots of kids... a handsome group of grandkids and personality to boot. It was a frigid day but we had a great time and they were a lot of fun to work with. Enjoy your preview... so many great shots.

Time spent with old friends...

I love my new home and my new town but I do miss my old friends. I was so excited to make the trip into Ashburn to take photos of this family. I have known them since the men were boys and before they had the last four... not to mention the fact that I have a daughter who is the same age as their youngest girl and they got baptized on the same day... pretty special for them. So let's just say that this family is like family to me and I loved spending an evening in their home catching some of their life on film.

Good times...

Another wedding opportunity for me this past weekend. What fun to work with this couple... they are very much in love and very happy. Despite lots of stress (what wedding wouldn't be complete without it right?) all turned out beautifully. I was grateful to be there to capture their special day.

Thursday night party

What a fun family! We did an indoor shoot in their home and they had a ball. They were so well behaved for the not so fun stuff and then when we said they could jump on the couch (with the approval of mom and dad of course) they let loose.

Nothing in the world like it...

the start of a new family on this earth that is! I was so grateful to have the opportunity to not only attend the wedding of my brother-in-law but to take photos of their special day.

Baby makes four...

I love this little spitfire and her mother... I haven't know them for very long but they have become one of those friendships you cherish. Thank you for letting me be a part of this new little life that is about to grace your family.

Four Generations...

These are some of the greatest women I know... so much love in their family. They pull together and help out whenever necessary... I was honored to capture a bit of this on film. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.

I don't think I have laughed so hard...

...at a photo shoot that is. These guys were hilarious. We had great time on a beautiful fall evening... lots of great light. Saw some new territory in the valley and once again was reminded that I love what I do.
