Break is over...

Well it is time to put the work boots on again, so to speak. I took a little break from all the on-line bustle of updating posts and editing photos, but it has come to an end.  Things were getting a little crazy around my desk... or at least on my desktop.  So I am going to play catch up a bit. 

We took a trip before Christmas and before said break to the Washington DC temple with the youth from our branch. It is a lovely place any time of the year but at Christmas it just has a magical quality.  We enjoyed the Christmas trees and nativities in the visitor center, as well as the lights outside.  It was a bit cold so we didn't linger too long.

It never fails to amaze me the wonderful blessings of the temple and the peace and beauty that surrounds it.

Seniors are the best... they really are. They have the whole world ahead of them and they are ready to take it on. No fear of what lies ahead. Every session that I have with a senior leaves me feeling like I can take on the world... no fear. This session was no different. Good luck to you Kyle in all your ventures and thanks for letting me be a part of your life for one brief moment.

 

The "H" Family

What an awesome family. I have been blessed in my life by many great people and this family is another example. They are kind, helpful and extremely considerate. They haven't all been together for quite some time and we tried to make the most of it.

Color or Mink?

This past weekend I took some pics of a really great family.  When I got home and got them downloaded this pic turned out even better than I thought.  She was so good at following directions and giving me the look I was hoping for. So now I wonder what do you think? Color or Mink?

The "R" Family

Love, Love, Love these pics and I love this family.  They have some great kids, who are pretty much willing to do whatever I ask of them and smile while doing it. Needless to say we had a great time playing around.

I'm NOT Little

This is the phrase I hear often from my little boy.  He is big now... not little... definitely not little.  What he doesn't understand is that he will always be my little boy no matter how big he gets.  I try to refrain from calling him my baby.  He HATES that!

Ice Blue Eyes

I am still baffled as to where the eyes on this kid came from, but I love them. I never knew that ice could melt your heart.  He brought the mirrored sunglasses along for this little session. We of course had a great time and discovered all sorts of cool stuff.

One more year...

I really can't believe my girl is 15 but the worst part is... next year she will be 16.  I am so grateful for her and all she does to help make my life a bit easier.  It is a new phase in life having your children become adults and while there are many things about it that I love... I sometimes miss my little girl.
